MACHINE OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION:
Wood Router machine operators are responsible for making sure the CNC machine is running at optimal efficiency. They will take ownership of the quality of every cut piece. Both operators will work together operating the CNC table, quality inspecting each piece and packing the pieces into boxes. Each side of the table should be cleaned and prepared before the cutting side finishes. At the end of the day the operators will apply our lean initiative with preventive maintenance per the desired schedule..

MACHINE OPERATOR JOB DUTIES:

• Clean parts off table and reload for next program
• Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data
• Make sure pieces are dust free
• Inspect each piece for a quality cut
• Organize cut pieces for packing
• General Maintenance and cleanup end of every day
• Other duties as required

MACHINE OPERATOR JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Active Listening

• Attention to Detail
• Good hand/eye Dexterity
• Frequently lift and carry up to 70 pounds
• Frequently bend, stoop, squat or twist
• Be able to stand and walk all day
• Repeatedly grasp, push/pull, or perform other finger and hand manipulations
• Basic mathematical aptitude (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• For safety and business purposes, must be able to communicate to others, as well as be able to
• receive communication from others, including reading and writing.
• Must speak English

MACHINE OPERATOR WAGE: $17.00/hr | Paid weekly on Thursday

MACHINE OPERATOR SHIFT:

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday | 6:00am to 2:30pm
