SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Machine Operators for a well known client in Lake Villa, IL. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation up to $25/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include 1st shift 8:00am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities of the Machine Operators:
- Operates CNC mill, table saw, band saw, and hand tools.
- Understands how to read technical drawings.
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Creates work instructions with regards to machine set up and machining processes.
- Takes precise measurements to ensure parts are to specification.
- Reads job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures the job is in order prior to machine set-up.
- Understand, contribute and follow provided work instructions.
- Understand and build products to specification and/or verbal instruction.
- Utilize soldering skills to build harnesses and electronic assemblies as needed.
- Previous 2+ years experience in machining and fabricating plastic, aluminum, and other materials.
- High school diploma.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Measurement skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
- Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
