Acara Solutions is looking for a Manual Machine Operator for our client located in Hoffman Estates, IL
- Perform a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions.
- Use micrometer to measure thickness of material.
- Operate manual manufacturing machine (Rolling press, SMG cutting press) to produce product.
- Trouble shoots automated press to continue producing product.
- Use hand tools (wrench, pliers, screwdrivers) to assemble product.
- Perform in process checks to ensure accuracy of work.
- Complete production on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Pay and Benefits:
- The Salary for this position is $ 20.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- At least a High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Manufacturing Technician.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Millings experience.
- Computer literate, knowledgeable in word and e-mails for general communications.
- Ability to use micrometer to measure thickness of material.
- Ability to operate manual manufacturing machine (Rolling press, SMG cutting press) to produce product.
- Ability to trouble shoots automated press to continue producing product.
- Ability to use hand tools (wrench, pliers, screwdrivers) to assemble product.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow prints, diagrams, written and oral work instructions and other written documentation relevant to production.
- Good working knowledge of measure units' American standards and metric.
- Assemble, test, and pack product using variety of hand tools, pneumatic drivers, and computerized equipment.
- Have good eye for detail.
- Ability to read and use measuring tools (Micrometers, calipers).
- Self-starter and able to work on his own with limited supervision and have good communication skills.
