We are looking for a Machine Operator Assistant to join our digital printing center team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful. Advancement opportunities are available.
Starting Rate: $18.85 an hour for day shift with a shift differential for night shift.
Work Hours: 12 hour rotating shift (2 weeks on days and 2 weeks on nights)
Location: We have 2 locations in Harrisonburg: North Plant at 2347 Kratzer Road;
South Plant at 1025 Willow Springs Road. This job is for our North Plant.
As a Machine Operator Assistant, you will:
- Set up and adjusts machines for production runs
- Troubleshoot
- Operate binding/finishing/packing equipment
- Coordinate job for crewmembers
- Assist in training new employees
- Receive training to help advance your career
