We are looking for caring and responsible caretakers at a state-of-the-art nursing-care facility in Huntsville, AL who can supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Assistant Director and Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times..

What you will need to succeed in this role:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices. Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and reflects the day-to-day nursing procedures performed in this facility.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN or RN in this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.

RN-$32-$44

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $43.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Night shift

• Huntsville, AL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• RN or LPN certification (Required)
