What You'll Do:

As a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Personal Care, you will carry out our Mission of Love by being responsible to organize, deliver and direct professional nursing care to residents.

Our LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Personal Care is responsible for the following:

• Collects data on residents and accurately documents residents' condition in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, the resident's response to the care, and medical assessment of the resident. Completes assigned paperwork, i.e., wound documentation, MARS, TARS, Care Plans, etc. on each resident on assigned resident care unit
• Performs clinical testing such as glucometer and pulse oximetry as necessary. Administers ordered medications and treatments as approved, including monitoring of IV fluids. Monitors effectiveness of medications and treatments.
• Prepares for and performs weekly resident rounds with the physician. Accepts physician's orders including verbal/telephone orders as appropriate and compliant with regulations and nursing practice. Transcribe physician's orders to residents' charts and care plans as required.

What You Have:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current LPN licensure by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required (prior to or upon employment).
• Are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or willing to become fully vaccinated upon hire. Masonic Villages will review and consider medical and religious exemptions.
