Role: Looker Developer
Work Location: NYC, NY , Remote
Duration: 6+months

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for an experienced, collaborative Looker Analyst/Developer visualization Engineer with experience in LookML, BigQuery
Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience with BI Analytics and reporting and leveraging cloud-based data warehousing platforms. Visualization Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, analyzing, performance tuning and implementing very large-scale visualization and data consumption solutions around Google BigQuery. Need to have knowledge of Google Cloud.
Must Have:

• At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience on Looker platform. Experience in other business intelligence platforms is an advantage
• Experience working with Looker 6.x and Looker 7.x
• Familiarity with LookML models, looks, and dashboards
• Familiarity with Looker's shared consumption portal and features
• Develop, Design and Support Interactive dashboards, reports, and exception Reports
• Ability to translate business requirements into efficient visualizations and reporting
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to coordinate discussion and to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and Relevant experience in BI reporting solution development with cloud data warehouse
• SQL development experience with understanding of relational and multi-dimensional design
• Knowledge of BI tool architectures, functions, and features
• Strong analytical, technical and performance tuning skills with ability to analyze issues, assess technical risks, and recommend sound solutions in a timely manner
