This particular opportunity allows an individual the chance to become a member of an empowered team of professionals supporting the operation of AEGIS Weapon Systems at Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine. Primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate the Combat Systems Logistics supportability; receipt, shipping and changes of installed equipment made and report any deficiencies as necessary. This position assists in ordering and tracking material and coordinates with various sources to ensure the material is provided to the ship and testing program as fast as possible.
Basic Qualifications:
Ordering parts from various sources and tracking to completeness

Disposition of parts to appropriate entities

Maintain database of parts ordered and able to give status of where they are in the supply chain
Desired Skills:
Intricate knowledge of government and shipyard supply chain logistics

Ability to create and maintain excel sheets and databases for tracking and purposes
