Position Summary

Monitors and analyzes performance of Parker Actuation Performance Based Logistics (PBL). Ensures program production meets key performance indicators (KPI) and monitors project schedule performance. Will work directly with Operations Team, Field Support Team and Division Supply chain to ensure workloads have required material to support the PBL and meet the contractual availability metric. Manages production data to be used in support of production meetings and Program Management Reviews (PMR). Serves as the focal point for all data collection for the PBL project. Project scope is generally evaluated based on schedule and cost for depot Public-Private Partnership (PPP) workload. Position will be based out of Hill PBL in Utah.

Responsibilities

  • Manages data collection for the Public-Private Partnership at customer site, in support of the Parker Actuation PBL. Aspects include but are not limited to delivery schedules and repair forecasts, material support and KPI metrics including contractual availability metric, repair turnaround time, on-time delivery and Division material support.
  • Evaluate material supply availability against demand. Schedule and expedite the movement of material to meet shipment dates.
  • Create PBL financial, Division supply chain performance and Depot performance analysis.
  • Monitors financial status of programs by tracking and analyzing current revenues and expenses and advising management on the projected effect of any modifications to agreements.
  • Establishes and defines program plan requirements or performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans.
  • Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met. Collects, analyzes and summarizes information and trends utilizing available software suites (Power BI, Tableau and/or MS Project).
  • Understand Master Schedules and be able to adjust the schedule in response to customer feedback/requirements and manufacturing capacity.
  • Coordinates cross-functional development of project plans and programs. Interfaces with suppliers and customers and performs extensive investigation as required to fulfill project obligations.
  • Initiates business contacts and correspondence and prepares required documentation to ensure accurate records of program compliance are maintained.
  • Applies continuous improvement techniques and methods to internal processes and systems to increase efficiency and customer service and to reduce costs. May lead or be assigned to a special project team
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks, and/or participating in professional associations.
  • Complies with federal, state, and aerospace industry regulations; ensures adherence to requirements and advises management on needed actions.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses. Analyzes proposed changes in methods.
  • May provide leadership to others in department. Acts as prime contact on high level projects. Establishes goals and objectives required to complete projects. Trains and mentors less experienced employees. Shares specialized knowledge with others. Represents company on specific projects. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities (e.g. continuous improvement).

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through six or more years of increasingly responsible related program administration experience.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced, specialized knowledge of program administration principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies.
  • Knowledge of complex legal and regulatory requirements related to program administration.
  • Ability to effectively assess, lead, and implement continuous improvement in critical and/or high-impact areas.
  • Ability to work on complex problems where in-depth analysis and evaluation of situations or data frequently require complicated negotiations; solve a wide range of unique problems of considerable scope and complexity that may require new approaches or significant modification of standard procedure.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex policies and recommend changes to procedures.
  • Ability to respond to significant inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders, vendors, customers, and top management.
  • Proficient with standard business applications software (e.g. databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Ability to establish program plans and report status utilizing program management software.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal-setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
