Our law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to assist our team of attorneys in managing a high volume of personal injury cases. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the attorneys in all aspects of the litigation process, from case intake to trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping injured clients obtain justice.
Responsibilities:
- - Conduct initial client interviews and intake assessments
- - Gather and organize relevant case information, such as medical records, police reports, and witness statements
- - Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the case
- - Draft legal documents, such as demand letters, pleadings, and discovery requests
- - Assist with the preparation of settlement negotiations and trial proceedings
- - Maintain accurate and detailed case files and calendars
- - Perform legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations
- - Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys
Qualifications:
- - Associate's degree or higher in paralegal studies or related field
- - Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a personal injury paralegal
- - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- - Familiarity with state court rules and procedures
