Responsibilities
- Assisting administration in the development of a social work program to meet the psycho-social needs of residents
- Advising administration on program planning, policy development and priority-setting for social services on compliance with MA DPH and OBRA regulations
- Ensuring appropriate action is taken and services provided to resolve residents’ social and emotional issues
- Reviewing clinical records for compliance with regulatory standards and quality of work provided
- Discussing clinical reviews of casework with social service staff and maintaining a log in accordance with Beaumont policies
Requirements
- Valid Social Work license (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LSW)
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
