We are currently hiring a full-time LPN for our Somerset OB/GYN care center in Bridgewater, NJ with a satellite location in Hillsborough, NJ.

Practice LPNs may perform telephone and/or in-person triage to care center patients.

Essential Functions:

• Utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines to evaluate and assess patient/caller health care needs based on signs, symptoms, complaints, and lab results.
• Obtaining appropriate input and direction from the provider, as needed, to determine and recommend the best clinical course of action for specific patient/caller health care.
• Accurately documenting patient/caller signs, symptoms, complaints, nursing assessment, provided advice, and the patient/caller response(s) into the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Scheduling patients/callers for appointments or procedures.
• Following policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as to improve patient/caller healthcare outcomes.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work flexible schedule and travel to satellite locations, where applicable, as needed

Education & Experience:

• Completion of a Nursing Degree/Certificate Program from an accredited institution
• Active New Jersey LPN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working as an LPN in a medical facility/office, preferably Ob/Gyn
• eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience, beneficial
• Knowledge of lab specific order sets and CPT coding, beneficial
