LICENSED STAFF PLUMBER JOB DESCRIPTION

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
• Follow building plans and blueprints.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Issue progress updates and maintain timelines and budgets for multiple projects at one time.
• Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
• Follow detail-oriented construction processes with strict adherence to design standards set by MidCentury.
• Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred 3-5 years experience in the residential building industry (custom building experience a plus).
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
• Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

COMPENSATION

• Job Type: Contract work for 90 days, then full-time with benefits after 90 days are up.
• Salary: $26-$36/hr for Apprentice to Journeyman and up to $10,000.00/month for Master Plumber
• Bonuses: Based on project progress
• Benefits: Health insurance (after 90 days)
• Allowances: Monthly truck allowance.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour
