Job description

Insight Psychotherapy focuses on providing specialized treatment for a variety of issues, and we are seeking an experienced, compassionate therapist to join the team. This position is for contract (1099) work for individual and couples psychotherapy. This allows you to see your clients, write your notes and get paid, without having to deal with billing, claims, rent, utilities, electronic health record software, etc. You can set your own schedule and see clients when it’s best for you. You have access to an office for in-person sessions and/or telehealth.

Credentialing for insurances will be paid by agency. You choose which insurances you would like to be credentialed with and we will work to get those completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
• Provide psychotherapy services
• Document client interactions and sessions appropriately and timely
• Perform all duties in compliance with the NASW Code of Ethics

Qualifications

- You must have completed a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling.

- You must be fully licensed to practice independently without supervision:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

*Note: No limited/provisional licenses. No disciplinary actions.

* Licensure current in the state of Utah: LCSW, CMHC or MFT

- Ability to make professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendation for treatment planning and implementation

- Exceptional interpersonal skills and sympathetic nature

- You must be computer literate.
