Pay Minimum: USD $27.00/Hr. Pay Maximum: USD $38.00/Hr. Responsibilities:
The on-site Clinician is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director. Clinician will be responsible for patient caseload and will provide group, individual, and family therapy. Clinician will conduct psychosocial and bio-psychosocial assessments. Clinician will collaborate with the Treatment Team to formulate the Master Treatment Plan, and assist in coordinating discharge planning. The Clinician has primary responsibility for maintaining communication with the family, referral source and other service providers as needed.
Working Hours - Day Shift
Employees work with the Clinical Director to determine schedule. Must be able to start as early as 8am and works as late as 6pm some days. Everyone works 1 weekend day.
4- 10/hr days may be available for some roles.
Core Job Duties:
Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following:
Provides excellent individual, family and group therapy to assigned patients following substance abuse and co-occurring program curriculum provided by Clinical Director.- Completes all required documentation ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, state regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medical Needs Criteria. This includes the following documents:
a. Biopsychosocial Assessment
b. Integrated Summary
c. Comprehensive Problem List
d. Integrated Master Treatment Plan and Updates
e. Individual, family and group therapy session notes
f. Discharge Summary
- Effectively uses substance abuse and co-occurring therapeutic interventions to assist patients with accomplishing all treatment plans goals and objectives and successfully complete treatment.
- Effectively prepares patient for maintaining sobriety post discharge.
- Maintain referent contact weekly or as required by Clinical Director.
- Demonstrates sufficient comprehension of the 12 Steps, SMART Recovery and Substance Use Disorders.
- Consistently identifies areas for improvement within the department by studying data and developing, implementing and documenting plans for improvement and outcomes.
OTHER REQUIRED TASKS:
- Maintains positive relationships with all staff.
- Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews.
- Maintains healthy boundaries with patients and staff.
- Asks for and accepts feedback from supervisors.
- Provides a safe and therapeutic environment to all staff and patients.
- Communicates significant patient developments to supervisor
- Participates in Quality Improvement activities and contribute to the success of the organization
- Pursues professional development through participation in education and training programs
- Contributes positively to the morale of other staff members.
- Performs other tasks, as assigned.
COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
Advanced Recovery Systems requires all employees who work in any facility or office to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.
- Minimum Masters’ Degree in social work, psychology or related human services field.
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience in mental health field (additional training may substitute for one year
- Licensed in the State of WA with one of the following:
- SUDP/SUDPT (Must Have to provide SUDP Services)
- LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) / LMHCA (Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate) + SUDP/SUDPT or willing to obtain
- LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) / LSWAIC (Licensed Social Work Associate & Independent Clinical) + SUDP/SUDPT or willing to obtain
- LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) / LMFTA (Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate) + SUDP/SUDPT or willing to obtain
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrates proficiency in communication and written skills
- Knowledge of State and Federal statutes regarding patient confidentiality laws
- Knowledge of licensing and accreditation standards
