Beanstalk Preschool, located close to Center City Philadelphia, is hiring a Preschool Teacher. This is a full time position Monday through Friday. We offer tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and The Vitable Health plan. Candidates must be passionate about early childhood care, must be caring and have good classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in preparing and executing developmentally appropriate daily lesson plans that encourage exploration and are aligned with the PA Early Learning Standards
• Participate in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for parents, children and staff in the classroom
• Maintain safe, clean and orderly environment according to ECERS
• Collaborate positively on school initiatives with Center Director, Teaching Staff, and Parents
• Assesses each child’s developmental needs on an ongoing basis
• Observes all of Beanstalk’s policies including attending all required staff meetings, workshops and school functions

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• At least one year Preschool teaching experience
• Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Knowledge of ERS and Keystone Stars standards
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• Bilingual in any language a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,360.00 - $39,520.00 per year

To keep the school as safe as possible, we use a daily COVID Screening tool for students and staff, mask wearing, Staggered outside Drop Off/Pick Up times, increased cleaning of materials, individual student materials whenever possible
