Responsibilities:

• Install various types of flooring materials in residential buildings, including hardwood, LVP, and carpet.
• Prepare the subfloor for installation by ensuring it is level, clean, and free of any damages.
• Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the room's dimensions, ensuring accurate cuts and minimizing waste.
• Install flooring materials using appropriate tools and techniques, such as adhesive, nails, or interlocking systems.
• Finish the installation by adding baseboards and trim, ensuring a seamless and professional-looking finish.
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment to ensure personal safety and prevent accidents in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a flooring installer in residential construction.
• Knowledge of various types of flooring materials and their applications.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and hammers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Hours and Salary:

• Hours: 25 - 40 hrs per week - 1099 Independent Contractor
• Salary: $35/ Hour, Depending on experience
