Collinwood is assisting our client, a well-known and respected financial services company in their effort to hire an On-site Lead Database Designer And Developer located in Jersey City, NJ.
Role Overview

A Database Designer, Data Modeler, and Database-centric application developer is required to help drive the successful delivery of key technology in the Counterparty Credit Risk Tech space.

What We Need From You:

• Deep understanding of relational database internals.
• Deep experience in data modeling and data warehousing in a highly competitive, time-sensitive environment, working directly with developers, data architects, and engineers.
• Experience with performance optimization, problem determination, and performance tuning for Sybase
• Experience working with other RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Apache Kudu / Impala preferable.
• Strong development skills in stored procedure and user-defined functions for ANSI-SQL, T-SQL, SQL/PL, and Sybase skills preferable.
• Other relevant skills are tools and utility development with python, shell.
• Server-side development experience
• Extensive database development experiences
• Ideally previous experience in the banking/finance sector but not essential
• Experience / Understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk an advantage

Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
