Dealertrack is looking to hire a Lead Business Services Specialist in Memphis, TN!

The Lead Business Services Specialist works with limited supervision and is responsible for monitoring daily production to ensure quality and client service level agreements are met. Lead assists the Supervisor in managing the operation, assigns/coordinates work, trains on procedures, recommends improvement of processes, and ensures quality for the client. The Lead also serves as a subject matter expert and first line of contact for team members, as well as an escalation point for issue resolution with clients.

This is an on-site position in Memphis, TN for the swing shift. The schedule is Tuesday - Saturday for the following hours:
  • Tuesday - Friday: 3:00 - 11:30am CST
  • Saturday: 1:00am - until work is completed in a timely manner


Your Role:


  • Applies broad knowledge of operational systems and practices
  • Responsible for directing and delegating workload to team and monitoring completion of work
  • Responsible for following operational procedural guidelines and holding all team members accountable for following guidelines
  • Assists team members in achieving individual productivity goals and team goals, training and coaching to achieve or exceed company goals
  • Communicate and help team adapt to changes in implementing process improvements
  • Identify improvements and make recommendations for improved business outcomes
  • Assists team with processing questions and trouble shoot.
  • Collaborate with other senior level team members to identify issues, solve problems, improve, and measure productivity goals.
  • Effectively sets an example in behavior, championing Cox Automotive values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respect.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a relation discipline and 5 years' experience; or 9 years' experience in a related field.
  • Working knowledge of PC software applications (i.e. MS Office, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight
  • Ability to effectively communicate and prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks while producing quality results
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to quickly adapt and learn new processes or duties and train other team members while being accountable, managing conflict positively, while driving results.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, and enjoy a fast paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lift and transport boxes of paperwork within facility weighing up to 40lbs; ability to lift 40 lbs. overhead occasionally with or without assistance.
  • Ability to sit for longer periods of time to complete repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, where there is an assigned start time, but no pre-determined end time, as all work must be completed with a rapid turn-around time.
  • Physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements
