Entry Level - Experienced

Established and growing Sheboygan Landscape Company is looking for entry level and experienced Lawn Technicians. Technicians perform a variety of duties including fertilization, weed control, aeration, dethatching and general maintenance. Customer service is a key element of the position, as well as product mixing, and applications.

* Lawn care technician must possess or be willing to obtain a state pesticide applicators license. WI.DATCP 3.0 Turf and Landscape Certification (Materials and fees paid By Greenscape)

Qualifications:

• Experience in Turf, Horticulture, Landscape or related discipline a plus, but not required.
• Measure properties to provide estimates and ability to learn lawn repair estimating techniques.
• Complete daily paper work.
• Mathematical skills to calculate product and usage rates accurately.
• Prepare/ load tools and materials needed for the day in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Monitor, diagnose and treat insect, disease, weed, and other conditions.
• Assist with organization, planning and ordering materials as needed.
• Select the most appropriate product or treatment to be utilized.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by providing comprehensive and thorough information.
• Represent the business in a professional manner.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively through out the day.
• Comfortable working alone or with other team members.
• Valid driver's license
