To maintain all machines and equipment in the laundry in good working order so that guests’ and customers’ needs can be met.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Maintain a maintenance and project checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements on all equipment used in the laundry.
- Working knowledge of all machines, including but not limited to dryers, sheet and towel folders, washers, and steam presser.
- Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and repair as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Communicate with manager to coordinate, acknowledge, document and complete the work necessary.
- Assist other general maintenance associates with work as needed. May be required to work in other areas of the resort when necessary.
- Completes other duties as assigned

- Various tools as needed for specific work
- Steam presser, washing machine, dryers
Working Environment:
Interior of hotel. Exposure to extreme heat and humidity.
- Exposure to hazardous laundry cleaning chemicals.
