Northland Staffing Solutions is hiring a Laser Operator/Programmer for our client located in St. Paul, MN. The ideal candidate would have two or more years of Laser Operator/Programmer experience.

Requirements of the Laser Operator/Programmer:

• 2 years laser cutting and programming experience is preferrable
• Previous CAD experience and strong computer knowledge
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Keyboarding, Basic math knowledge
• Ability to lift sheets of metal in and out of the laser.
• Continuously pursue corrective and preventative measures to ensure type and layout of orders to meet customer requirements.
• Identify nonconforming products per procedures and help the company meet measurable objectives.

Responsibilities of the Laser Operator/Programmer:

• Cut and mark products to meet customer requirements.
• Setup laser cutting operations
• Select proper cutting programs & modify CAD files
• Assist in Flatbed Knife and Router cutting
• Ensure proper cutting & deburring are to expected quality standards
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Inspect jobs for product conformance

Job-Type: Full Time

Salary: $22-27.00 per hour DOQ
