Overview

The Laser Operator produces quality metal fabricated parts to customer print specifications using allotted times and processes.

*Please note that this is for openings at our location on the West side of Columbus towards the Hilliard area*

Until further notice:

• Minimum wage $21/hr, which includes a $2/hr Rogue Bonus Adder*
• Additional 5% premium for 2nd Shift and additional 2.5% premium for 3rd Shift
• Rogue Team Members eligible to receive Quarterly Bonus

*In addition to your hourly base rate, you will receive a $2/hr Rogue Bonus Adder, subject to change and contingent upon business and team member performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor programs on Laser
• Responsible for numerous machining techniques including grinding, sanding, etc.
• Layout parts to meet blueprint specifications using calipers, gages, etc
• Making small, mathematically calculated, corrections
• Load and maneuver the part correctly with an overhead crane
• Understanding safety requirements in every area, and complying all safety regulations

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in superior safety and quality practices.
• 1-2 years’ experience operating Laser Cutter
• Ability to read blueprints
• Basic understanding of CAD systems
• Ability to utilize standard inspection tools to verify parts meet print specifications
• Basic math skills to work in high pressure situations under deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and carry up to 80 feet
