Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled laser engraver to join our team. The engraver will be responsible for creating high-quality engravings on a variety of materials, including leather, plastics, and wood. The ideal candidate will have experience working with laser engravers.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate laser engraving equipment.
• Engraving on a variety of materials, including leather, plastics, and wood, to produce high-quality finished products.
• Consult with premium department to determine customer specific engraving needs and provide guidance on the design and layout of the engraving.
• Ensure that all engravings are accurate, precise, and meet the client's expectations.
• Use computer-aided design software, and other specialized machinery to create designs on different surfaces.
• Analyze designs and specifications to ensure that they meet the required standards.
• Collaborate with premium department to ensure clients requirements are met and provide expert advice on designs, materials, and techniques.
• Maintain and clean all engraving equipment and tools to ensure their optimal performance.
• Meet production deadlines and ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest techniques and trends in the laser engraving industry.
• Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring that they are in good working order and performing routine maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Fine Arts, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Experience as a laser engraver is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with software programs used in engraving, such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW, preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials and operate machinery safely and effectively.
• Eagerness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
