Laboratory Specialist
The Infectious Diseases division is seeking a qualified candidate for a Laboratory Specialist. The primary responsibilities of this position are to work with Pitt Men's Study staff and assist in implementation of new and changed study protocols. Duties include blood processing, sample logging, freezer monitoring, storage, and transfer. This position requires the ability to maneuver LN2 tanks (450lbs) via a dolly.
Two years of experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.
