Baker is seeking to hire an on-site (full-time) Lab Technician for our lab in Ft. worth, Texas. This lab and our clinics have a talented team that focuses on the highest level of patient care. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, service, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices.

Core Responsibilities:

· Fabricate, maintain, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices, according to prescription specifications and under guidance of a prosthetist.

· Tests device for freedom of movement, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability.

· Complete work orders as assigned.

· Maintenance of all equipment and tools in the lab.

· Maintain and clean and organized work area.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

· High School diploma

· One to three years of experience in an industrial setting

· Experience working in a machine shop, construction or auto repair preferred.

· Able to work overtime

Physical Requirements:

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; squat; bend; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/pull/push with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
