Apogee's ideal Lab Manager is a key contributor in driving the design, tuning, testing, and transition of software research and development (R&D) that delivers new GEOINT capabilities into Intelligence Community (IC) operations. What You'll Do

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on NRO and/or NGA GEOINT ground architecture for software development teams
• Provide System Integration (SI) lifecycle support to R&D projects including early determination of NRO/NGA host destinations and guiding all aspects of design, development, testing, and delivery of the capability into its final destination
• Responsible for development and maintenance of software design, test, and integration guidelines ensuring successful integration with GEOINT enterprise systems
• Support the training and tuning of machine learning algorithms
• Support planning and execution of Verification, Validation, and Testing (VV&T)
  
• Collaborate with development teams and Govt personnel, conduct meetings, generate documentation, and present reports and presentations verbally or in writing

Desired Skills

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related STEM program
• Knowledge and experience with NRO and/or NGA Space-Ground systems, NRO Systems Engineering processes, GEOINT, Agile
