As a Kitchen Manager you will plan and direct the daily operations of the kitchen, including hiring and firing staff. Responsibilities include scheduling a staff of sous-chefs, expeditors and line cooks, ordering food and supplies and cooking food as needed. You must be knowledgeable about culinary arts and have experience working in a hot and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a sanitary environment.
• Manage kitchen staff.
• Manage supplies and budget.
• Monitor food quality and adherence to safe food handling practices.
• Plan weekly menu.
• Train staff on proper food handling.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and purveyors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,281.00 - $58,935.00 per year
