Job description

The person in the role of Kitchen Manager must own the operations by making sure we serve safe and high-quality food by complying with all Chick-fil-A requirements and standards.

The Manager must embody the culture of the restaurant and have a positive impact on those that come in contact with Chick-fil-A. Also must be able to develop future leaders.


The daily requirement within the role are as follow but not limited to:

Being in compliance with all systems and processes, performing daily counts of food to maintain a great inventory, placing food orders and produce orders, assessing final product with Quality audits, and also performing Safety audits to ensure team members are safe while working as well as keeping customers safe.


REQUIREMENTS

    • The Kitchen Manager helps to train employees, and oversees the team and operations of the back-of-house during each shift, and is responsible for the overall performance of the BOH team on their shifts
  • The Kitchen Manager reports to and works closely with the Quality and Safe Director
    • The Kitchen Manager is responsible for completing SAFE audits and Product Quality Audits on a daily basis
    • Ensures that the operations of the shift are running smoothly
    • Assists with side-by-side training of new Team Members in the BOH
    • Maintains a positive working relationship and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback
    • Responsible for inventory, organization and facilities management
    • Complete understanding of each key position in both the back of house and front of house
    • Stay in compliance with all systems and processes
