Job description
Millennium Galvanizing is actively looking to add a Kettle Crane Operator to our team in Convent, LA. The Kettle Crane Operator operates the overhead bridge crane in a safe and effective manner to ensure high quality finished products are produced. This position monitors steel products in the process tanks and zinc baths to ensure a high qualify product is achieved; inspects hooks and chains and uses gauges to check the thickness of the crane setup; operates and maneuvers equipment in a proper and safe manner in accordance to policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS FOR KETTLE CRANE OPERATOR:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret typed reports and schedules required.
- One plus year of experience operating overhead cranes is required.
- One plus year of experience operating overhead cranes in a galvanizing facility is preferred.
- Ability to perform stated job duties in a safe manner is required.
