Paying $17-$20/hour Youth Care Worker!

The Direct Care Youth Worker and Direct Care Youth Supervisor works in a 24 hour residential program (this is not a daycare setting) and assists with assessing, coordinating, and monitoring the residential programs. Program open 24/7. Youth ages range from 10-17 years old.

We are currently hiring for all shifts - The pay range is $13-$20hr (depending on experience). Potential for increase in pay after first 90 day performance review. We want you to grow, learn, and earn!! We promote from within!!

$17-$19 Direct Care Youth Staff III

$18.50-$20 Direct Care Supervisors

Shift hours 7:00am-3:30pm (limited openings)

3:00pm-11:30pm (Multiple openings)

11:00pm-7:30am (Multiple openings)

Responsibilities for Youth Care Worker

(Direct Support Professional)

• Monitor each child's on-going activity
• Be aware of children's habits, interest, and any special needs.
• Positively reinforce children's efforts and accomplishments.
• Ensure continuity of care for children by sharing within incoming caregiver information about each child's activities during the previous shift and any verbal or written instructions by the case worker or other professionals.
• Provide the level of supervision necessary to ensure each child's safety and well-being, including auditory and/or visual awareness of each child's on-going activity as appropriate.

Experience for Youth Care Worker

(Direct Support Professional)

• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must be 21 and older
• Must pass background check and drug test
• Reliable transportation with a Valid Texas Driver's license and liability insurance
• One (1) year of experience in the child welfare field working with children and/or adolescents in a social service setting
• (For Supervisor position only) Minimum of 2 years in a residential childcare treatment center with direct responsibility for supervision and development of direct childcare staff, with emphasis on the implementation of childcare programs and the management and coordination of direct care staff. Bachelor's Degree majoring in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or closely related to Social Services field. (Highly Sought, but not required)

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
