Collinwood is assisting our client, a major healthcare technology company, in their efforts to find a Junior .Net Developer.
As the .Net Developer/Software Engineer, you will work closely with Support, Engineering, and IT teams on complex issues working towards resolutions through software development and automation. The ASE also provides in-depth technical support for application software and integrated 3rd party products for internally developed products. You will Manage progress toward resolution and document issues throughout the "life-cycle” of a reported issue.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Using tools such as Splunk or other enterprise level monitoring tool suites to proactively develop and implement tools to monitor and report application health.
- Working with Engineering and IT to develop application monitoring and issue prevention tools by participating in product architectural reviews and sprint planning.
- Performing technical troubleshooting to solve complex problems – document all solutions to assist in handling future similar problems in company Knowledge Base library.
- Evaluate and implement tools and process to improve efficiency of all support teams.
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all company products and services.
- Maintain compliance with the companys policies, procedures and mission statement.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within the companys Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.
- Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by the company for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.
What We Need From You:
- 3 years of professional experience in .Net, Javascript and SQL application development
- Proficient in administration tasks of Redhat Linux (CentOS 5/7) and Windows Server (2008, 2012)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload efficiently and to prioritize projects with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills, including customer relationship skills in conjunction with the ability to work well in a team environment as well as to work independently and assume responsibility
- Experience with at least ONE of the following: Splunk administration, setup, and configuration or other log aggregation/monitoring toolsets such as ELK Stack and Solarwinds preferred
- Experience with Amazon Web Services preferred
- Healthcare EDI experience and strong knowledge of X12 (specifically 270/271, 276/277, 835, 837I, 837P) preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Work Environment:
- Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time)
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force
- Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
- Subject to inside environmental conditions
- Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
