Overview:
World Travel Holdings is seeking a keen Junior Copywriter for the in-house agency team. In this position, you will be writing an array of content, with a strong focus on web promotion copy and email copy. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a team player, have an enthusiasm for learning, and possess a strong command of the English language.

Responsibilities:
  • Take copywriting ownership for assigned brands from our direct-to-consumer portfolio
  • Enhance the messaging of new product offers and write supporting web copy to help launch promotions accurately and quickly, handling updates and last-minute requests as needed
  • Accept critique of copy and implement best ideas
  • Participate openly and enthusiastically in brainstorming sessions and other planning activities
  • Collaborate with other copywriters, designers, web developers, product marketers, and brand managers to deliver a clear vision to the messaging of each piece
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or English
  • 1-2 years of copywriting experience
  • Examples of recent relevant work and/or a portfolio
  • Proficiency, creativity, and accuracy in copywriting, self-editing, proofreading, and researching, while consistently offering creative and viable solutions
  • Ability to incorporate the tone, style, and overall voice of various consumer brands
  • Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and prioritization
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Must be a resident and live in a US state. We do not currently hire in AK, CA, HI, KY, ND, OH, OR, and PA
