Position: Junior Backend Developer
Location: Remote
Term: 3 Months Contract
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for acquiring data from multiple sources (via APIs, scraping, file import, etc.), cleaning the data, enriching related metadata, and storing the results in databases for use by internal applications.

Ensuring the stored data is accurate, up-to-date, and usable is paramount.

create applications that improve the efficiency of backend processes, such as ensuring the quality and usability of Information Security’s internal websites, coordinating with internal InfoSec teams to update content, creating site governance reports, and applying information taxonomies to data.

Strong technical aptitude and an interest in technical disciplines will be important in building relationships with team members.
Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

Minimum of one year experience as a backend developer

Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python

Skills in integrating data sources into databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)

Familiarity with authentication and authorization techniques
-
Intermediate database administration skills

Experience with developing and maintaining process documents
-
Excellent writing and organizational skills
-
Ability to rapidly learn and master new applications
-
Desire to learn and grow in technical disciplines
-
Ability to translate feedback into actionable improvements
-
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands and rapid change
Even better if you have:

Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint
-
Familiarity with a backend framework such as Express and Django
-
Familiarity with frontend frameworks/libraries such as Angular and React
