Job description
Zion Mountain Ranch's growing companies in the Hospitality and Development industries are seeking a Junior Controller immediately. This person should plan on living in Kane County or the East side of Washington County in Southern Utah so that at least 50 percent of the job is done on site. Zion Mountain Ranch is located in a rural and beautiful area just east of Zion National Park. This area is one of the most premium and well sought out places to live in America. Zion Mountain Ranch maintains high standards in grooming and maintains an illegal drug and alcohol abuse free work and living environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Cash Management
- Financial planning & Analysis: Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting of cash flow to management and ownership and create budgets
- General Accounting and Controlling: Oversight of finance team including; bookkeeping, payroll, payables, receivables, and development finance
- Profitability: Review and enhance financial transparency and visibility throughout the organization creating a culture of financial empowerment and accountability
- Actively serve as a team leader to enhance company and team culture
- Coordinate with outside accounting and legal firms
- Compliance with local, state and federal regulations
- Work directly with managers of various positions to include, in part; scheduling, ordering, and budgeting
- Work directly with CPA firm
Qualifications Include:
- Experience with Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Detail oriented with the ability to identify and execute on opportunities for improvement
- Experience in hospitality or real estate a plus
- The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative, leadership, and communication skills
- CPA or MBA a plus
