Our job coaches are motivated, determined, and excited to serve these communities by supporting and assisting people with disabilities as well as displaced workers. Our job coaches are trained to help individuals gain knowledge and independence. Our team is big on communication as it really makes the difference and sets Maine Job Solutions apart from other local agencies!

We are currently looking in the Penobscot County for self-motivated individuals ready to work with a team. This job allows for a flexible schedule. Some of the tasks include attending interviews, informational tours and job shadowing. Job coaches provide on-the-job support to clients for their work experiences and jobs. This assistance may be support on the job for each shift or check-ins after getting trained and started on the job. Observation and accurate note taking are performed for all work provided.

We are motivated to inspire others to fulfill their vocational goals and serve as a useful resource by bridging the gap between employers and dedicated job seekers.

Requirements

• ACRE certification (training class provided to anyone without this credential to be completed within 6 months of being hired at no cost to the employee)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Maine Driver's License
• Reliable transportation
• Pass a Criminal Background Check

Not required but preferred:

• DSP, BHP, or CRMA certifications
• CPR certification
• 1 year experience working in Community Support or the mental health field
• Familiar with Google Drive and all of its apps

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
