Our EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST/ JOB COACH position supports our mission of life without limits for people with disabilities by building great relationships with Clients, the community, and potential employers that develop into a collaborative partnership that places Clients into excellent job opportunities. This position, assists in assessments, job development, placement, job coaching, and other supports for those with disabilities. You would be an advocate in the community to help foster competitive employment and fully integrated job sites for persons with disabilities.
Requirements of the Job:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to relate well with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. (Achieving measurable goals.)
- Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance that meets minimum requirements of the state of Missouri.
- Maintain training, certification consistent with Agency requirements.
- Ability to pass background screenings for the Agency, employment sites and law enforcement.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
