POSITION PURPOSE:

The Janitor role is responsible for the general upkeep, and maintenance cleaning of interior buildings/facilities/lobby office areas, restrooms, and other areas determined by contract or assigned by the supervisor.

Compensation:$20-21

SHIFT DETAILS:

Tuesday- Saturday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Include the following key areas and duties, which may be modified or increased as necessary:

• Pick up trash and replace trash liners
• Vacuum, mop, strip, wax, and sweep floor areas
• Dust, wall spot, clean glass, polish, and sanitize all areas.
• Wash, clean, wipe down, sponge rinse, scour, and disinfect assigned work areas.
• Note/report all areas needing repair or hazardous conditions requiring correction.
• Adhere to all safety rules, requirements, policies, and procedures in accordance with CCS guidelines.
• Report damage to customer property, suspicious activities, and unsafe conditions within the work area to the supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned

PRIMARY RESULTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ACHIEVING:

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and personal skills.
• Responsible for any emergency cleaning occurring during shift.
• Ability to work independently at the customer job site.
• Ability to identify and resolve areas of conflict or concerns. Report to the shift supervisor any items needed to be completed by the next shift.
• Notify the supervisor of any discrepancies in the overall condition of the environment, i.e., leaking faucet, broken pipe, crack in wall or glass, etc.
• Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Must have and be able to consistently apply the following skills at the levels indicated to produce assigned results.

• GED (preferred)
• Previous work experience (preferred)
