Part-Time IT Support Technician The Part-Time IT Support Technician will play a supporting role in all areas of technology support.

These include, but are not limited to:

Ensure computers and related equipment in the school are working properly and troubleshoot problems Assist end users with full utilization of available hardware and software Provide timely resolution of computer problems by providing answers or referrals Assist with inventory of software licensing Cooperate and communicate clearly and positively with school employees, students, technology team members, and vendors Perform other duties within the scope of employment as may be assigned. Requirements: An associates and/or undergraduate degree or formal education in computer science/related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong understanding of a wide range of hardware and software Strong working knowledge and experience with Windows, OSx, Chrome, and iOS operating systems Experience supporting and managing Mac OSx AND iOS via Jamf Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair end-user hardware devices and operating systems Demonstrate the ability to properly prioritize numerous requests/projects and align the requestor’s expectation with the IT department’s resources Ability to support and train staff in the use of hardware and software Valid driver’s license and the use of personal automobile to travel between 2 campuses (Union and Montclair) Ability to communicate and interact effectively with others, work cooperatively with others, and accept direction from supervisors and administration Ability to lift technology equipment as needed to perform the functions of the job Certifications and/or training that supports district technology services preferred

Supervises: N/A

Terms of Contract: 12 months, Part Time, As Needed Compensation: Commensurate with experience
