Responsibilities

As an IT Specialist you will be responsible for supporting broadcast video systems; software-defined video networking, compression and content processing systems, orchestration and control network management and monitoring solutions:

Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns, including video room support, from clients or other employees

• Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all broadcast hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.

Responsible for setting up all hardware and ensuring said hardware is connected to the network.

• Resolve technical issues related to computer, system and/or network interruptions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including hardware, software and networking
• Provide technical support and guidance to callers
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support to existing I.T. systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including hardware, software and networking

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electronic Engineer, Engineering Technology, Information Systems or relevant field
• Entry-level experience in IT support and system administration
• Familiarity with network security, authentication, and authorization protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
