Stellar Innovations & Solutions Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an IT Technical Recruiter (remote work an option), to support our DoD / Military & Federal programs.
We’re the Prime Federal Contractor for 18 Air Force programs at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH., and Warner Robins AFB in GA. We’re also a partner on several programs for the DLA and have recently won additional contracts for the Navy & Federal Government.
We’re seeking a mid-level IT Technical Recruiter with DoD and / or Federal cleared sourcing experience to source & recruit cleared candidates (Secret - TS/SCI) for a variety of IT centric positions.
Responsibilities:
- As part of a team, establish recruiting requirements for each opportunity.
- Determine suitable applicants by comparing applicant qualifications against open requisitions.
- Coordinate security clearance verifications with the Facility Security Officer.
- Generate job requisitions for online posting from information contained in our SharePoint open requisition database.
- Source applicants using a variety of sources such as LinkedIn, Social Media, Networking, Job Boards, Referrals and other sources to generate interest from candidates.
- Proactively seek out candidates for forecasted positions.
- Source, screen, schedule interviews with hiring managers & assist in the candidate selection process.
- Develop and maintain candidate pipeline in advance of hiring needs.
- Ensure potential candidate resumes reflect all position qualifications and requirements.
- Submit vetted candidates to various hiring managers & the Director of Operations for review.
- Track and record all recruiting and onboarding activities.
- Assist with pre-employment offer letters and support overall recruiting administrative hiring processes.
- Participate in scheduled weekly meetings.
- Review recruitment processes periodically for process improvement and/or correction.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years technical (IT) recruiting experience.
- MUST have recent experience recruiting IT talent with Secret - TS/SCI security clearances, and DoD Approved 8570 baseline certifications such as IAT I, IAT II & higher for DoD / Military / Federal contracts.
- Experience recruiting for DoD / Military / Federal contract proposals is a plus.
- Experience using social media, LinkedIn, Job Sites/Boards, Internet, and Networking.
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
- Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
