The IT Solutions Architect will work as a team member or team lead for design, implementation, documentation, and handoff of IT projects. These projects range in size from single server installations to multi-server, multi-site installations and utilize a wide range of technologies, including Microsoft, Citrix, Cisco, HP, Dell, VMWare, Fortinet, WatchGuard, and various other Tier-1 vendor products. Additionally, this position will be responsible for conducting in depth network and systems analysis and creating the in-depth reports post analysis.

This role will work as a member of the sales and technical teams providing design and development of the project's architecture, project schedules, project plans, bill of materials and labor estimates. Additionally, the Senior Solutions Engineer will also be responsible for providing IT services to clients which includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting, and resolving specific problems.

Responsibilities Include:

· Providing solution-based consulting to clients, with the ability to develop and create technical documents such as evaluation reports, project schedules, bills of materials, project plans, timelines, network maps and other documents as required.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills for servers, firewalls, and other network infrastructure devices, to include, but not be limited to, routers, switches, wireless access points, remote access concentrators, etc.

· Strong working knowledge of firewalls, to include, but not be limited to, WatchGuard, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Cisco.

· Troubleshooting with the ability to provide logical, intelligent full-service solutions and problem resolution regardless of the technology.

· Maintain excellent customer satisfaction (gathered from surveys and interviews)

· Meet or exceed all customer SLA’s

· Meet or exceed all time deadlines and project milestones assigned to you

· Function as an effective team member of the Secured Managed Services Department

· Enter time and billing information daily

· Attend all department meetings as required by your supervisor

· Preform pre-sales duties by meeting with client and designing solutions

· Build out labor estimates and project schedules

· Create and review reports

· Perform peer review duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

· This position will require the lifting and moving of network equipment such as UPS’s, switches, routers, firewalls, PC’s, servers, etc.

Transportation Requirements

· This position may occasionally require travel throughout the US, visiting clients and prospect clients. Reliable transportation is a strict requirement. Travel expenses are paid monthly.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher education degree

· Ability to architect and implement Azure IaaS, including server-less solutions and Power Automate

· A solid understanding of IT security technologies including network and application security, firewalls, access management, and data protection

• Prior experience creating Information Security Policies and Procedures
• Expert level knowledge of the Microsoft Servers product line and technologies, to include, but not be limited to, Small Business Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, IAS, NLBS and others.

· Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills with customer service experience.

• Must be able to pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
