Responsibilities for IT Manager

• · Managing information technology and computer systems
• · Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations including but not limited to ERP data, email, file storage, server operation, networking devices and workstations.
• · Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
• · Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• · Ensure security of data, network access, physical access, updates and backup systems
• · Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• · Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• · Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• · Maintain, secure, and improve wifi, networking, firewall and other IT related equipment
• · Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• · Handle budget and ensure cost effectiveness
• · Maintain relationship with vendors and maintain their efficiency.
• · Daily helpdesk que assistance with support
• · End User Training for onboarding, new software, and other needs as they arise.
• · Act as company stakeholder and perform other duties as necessary.

Education and Experience for IT Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration
• 2-5 years of experience working in IT operations
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
• Microsoft Dynamic 365
