This crucial position will be responsible for the operation, development, and continual improvement of the Company’s IT infrastructure, point-of-sale systems, customer facing technology, and reporting systems.

Position Summary

The IT Development Specialist will work directly with the IT Development Manager on new and existing development and data driven projects. This position will also be responsible for helping ensure the reliability of our customer facing technology, internal reporting, and database architecture. Root cause problem solving that drives continuous improvement will be an important part of the role. The IT Development Specialist will also be heavily involved with the development and implementation of new business intelligence goals and systems.

The IT Development Specialist will collaborate closely with other departments across the organization, and work with third party vendors. The IT Development Specialist will have the opportunity to spend time in the field as part of the continuous improvement portion of the work. Occasional night and weekend work will be required as part of this role. This is a career path position as the scale and scope of the role will increase over time. The Development Specialist will report to the IT Development Manager and the Director of IT.

Technical Skills & Experience

Required:

• Development experience with the ability to work with .NET Web Application Technologies using C#, Web Forms, MVC and Angular
• Experience with integration of 3rd party rest APIs.
• Working knowledge and experience writing custom Microsoft SQL queries using multiple datasets.
• Microsoft SQL Server administration, advance query building, and report building.
• Strong skill set in data analytics and working with 3rd party or custom BI software.

Strongly Preferred:

• Strong LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SDWAN deployment and management skills.
• Strong knowledge Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 administration
• Solid understanding of security best practices such as email security, networking concepts, threats, tools, and remediation techniques
• 2+ years of experience helping lead projects across the finish line.

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Have a full and valid driving license (and acceptable driving record)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience (min 4 yrs.)
