We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an IT Associate. The IT Associate requires an experienced people person, with experience in maintenance of technology infrastructure at plants. The position is responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers and security systems; investigate and diagnose network problems; collect IT usage stats, make recommendations for improving the company's IT systems and carrying out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.

Skills/Abilities:

A team player

3+ years of relevant experience.

Windows 7 and 10 experience are required.

Knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts and network structures are desired but not mandatory.

Good Communication Skills, strong work ethics and team-oriented mindset.

Responsible for the installation and ongoing support for all employee computer hardware, software, operating systems, and related peripherals such as monitors and printers.

Perform hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair on desktop and laptop equipment.

Document and track problems and solutions in the help desk system to ensure a timely resolution and escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support when required.

Experience and knowledge of Office 365; Microsoft Word, Excel, and other productivity software.

Provide training to computer system users for installed software.

Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware.

Work independently and with other IT personnel to identify and resolve issues.

Support office printers and other related hardware

Maintain user and system documentation, procedures, and libraries for installed products.

Other duties may be assigned as required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members, and management.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.

An ability to lead and/or facilitate technical sessions with end-users.

An ability to translate technical needs into functional requirements for end-users

Education

HS Diploma
Associates degree in related field
IT certifications preferred: A+
