MISSION / SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Manager, IT Procurement, the Analyst, IT Procurement will be supporting the high volume of peripheral devices and software purchases.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Process standard and non-standard hardware and software requisitions based on ServiceNow requests
• Enter requisitions or purchase orders into SAP and make changes as necessary
• Track requests from internal customers and prioritize them accordingly
• Track shipments and communicate any changes to shipment schedules to both internal and external customers
• Handle internal and external invoicing inquiries
• Assist with vendor onboarding, including gathering necessary documents from vendors and internal stakeholders
• Get quotes from primary or secondary vendors, ensuring the best price and availability
• Collaborate with IT VMO team to identify any cost savings and automation opportunities
• Identify any areas of process improvement
• Assist with developing SOPs for the department
• Assist with financial and vendor reporting

BACKGROUND / EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, with five years related experience or Associate degree with seven years related experience.
• 1+ years’ experience with IT Purchasing
• Successful track record of collaboration with teams that deliver on operational priorities
• Understanding of basic accounting concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across a broad range of personnel across all business functions. Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
• Ability to work in a virtual global team environment across all time zones
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize workload with minimum supervision
