Lafayette County Board of Sheltered Services is looking for dedicated, caring, and dependable persons to join their ISL direct care team.

These persons would work part-time with two ladies with developmental disabilities in their home. These ladies need assistance in general cleaning, cooking, and personal hygiene. The best people for the job are those who can be present in the moment, enrich the lives of our ladies, and learn their day-to-day routines.

The ISL staff work together when bringing in new staff to make a schedule to facilitate a good home/work balance. We are looking for two part-time staff for shift coverage for 1-2 overnight shifts and a weekend day/evening shift.

Starting wage is $15.00/hr, with a 3% increase at 90 days, with a positive supervisory review. Then a 3% annual increase thereafter on the employment anniversary*

Experience is preferred but not necessary. LCBSS provides all necessary training.

Applicants must be 18+ years old and have a High school Diploma or equivalent. They must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
