American Pride Outdoor Services is seeking team members who are passionate about wowing customers through irrigation, well-pump, landscaping services. The team members that we will hire, will be required to do different types of commercial and residential landscaping projects. We are looking for someone who is passionate about serving their customers, diligently executing tasks, and knocking out their work!

Owned by Alfredo Sosa and Deanna Casman, American Pride Outdoor Services has been serving the Cape Coral community for nearly six years. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured family owned business with 15 years of irrigation/well-pump/landscaping experience. We are passionate about these outdoor services because of our ability to improve the beautiful outdoors of our clients homes and businesses.

Owner Alfredo Sosa takes pride in all of his clients outdoors and is looking for someone who carries the same work ethic and beliefs in keeping customer satisfaction first.

!!!!! IRRIGATION/WELL-PUMP TECHNICIAN POSITIONS AVAILABLE !!!!!

BENEFITS:

• Merit Based Pay, make over $40,000.00/yr starting

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Valid and Clean Driver's License for the last 3+ years & reliable transportation
• Read and write English (Bilingual preferred but not required)
• Working knowledge of irrigation/well-pump systems & fixtures/service/installations
• Experience installing new irrigation systems
• Willing to work weekend and overtime hours as necessary
• Knowledge of cutting/gluing lateral line pipe/fitting, cutting and assembling drip tubing/fitting
• 2-wire capabilities and decoder programming
• Ability to take & execute written instruction through email
• Motivation (Able to work independently with strong time management and problem-solving skills)
• Goal-Oriented & Detailed
• A self-starter
• Have great attitude and a desire to learn
• Must be able to verbally communicate well
• Must appreciate humor and funny jokes

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Florida gets hot and we work outside so you must be able to work in conditions above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and in direct sunlight at times (not often if we can help it)
• Ability to load/unload trailers (up to 50 lbs.)
• Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
• Work near or around direct automotive traffic and natural bodies of water
• Work 8+ hours per day (with applicable breaks) 5 days/week
• Capable of hand back filling

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• 1+ years of productive experience in the installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems
• Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends
• Ability to diagnose irrigation systems and pre-fabricate sub-assemblies from sample provided by Irrigation Manager
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multimeters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing
• Know the difference between reclaim, potable, pump, and well water source
• Operation of an irrigation time clock: Rainbird, Hunter, Weathermatic, WeatherTrak
• Valve tracking & wiring - track valves using a valve locator
