Job Responsibilities:

• Verify IRA documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify posting of IRA transactions are accurate
• Set up automatic distributions
• Update procedures as needed
• Work applicable reports for any exceptions
• Be a resource to branch team members for questions
• Work the deceased member listing for members who have passed with an IRA/HSA/ESA
• Ensure required letters are sent out each year to members who must take distributions
• Review all tax documents for accuracy and make corrections when necessary
• Receive external requests for transfers, etc and process them.
• Will be part of the service pack testing for IRAs, HSAs, and ESAs
• Will be cross trained to assist in the other areas of the branch operations support area
• Be an active member on various project teams
• All other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year cash handling experience and one (1) year of member service, financial services, hospitality, sales, or similar experience (working in a credit union environment is a plus, but not required).
• Candidate will be required to take appropriate certification courses to become a Certified IRA Specialist within one year and maintain their certification while in the position.
