Position Description
LISC is seeking a qualified candidate for an Investment Analyst at the Assistant Program Officer level. This position will be part of LISC’s Finance Department and will report to LISC’s Director of Innovative Investments. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting a diverse project financing portfolio of over $50MM. Position will entail portfolio tracking and analysis, transaction due diligence, financial & impact reporting, various asset management duties, and related tasks.
Responsibilities:
Approvals and Review
- Support transaction intake and review to include financial analysis, due diligence checklist, and related materials
- Work closely with the Director of Innovative Investments and other relevant departments to prepare and process legal and other required documentation to close, amend, and restructure transactions
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, procedures and process documentation
Fund Reporting and Performance
- Extract and analyze large data sets; leverage data to monitor portfolio performance, deployment targets, amendments, reserves and trends
- Prepare reports, charts and PowerPoint presentations
- Maintain workout and write-off projections spreadsheets and trackers
Loan Administration
- Ensure the quality of investment-related data in the LISC loan administration system
- Liaise with Loan Administration and Program staff; responsible for ensuring servicing issues are resolved
- Track key performance indicators related to portfolio condition and program impact
- Participate in process improvements, evaluation projects and new product rollouts
Communications & Training
- Provide helpdesk assistance to LISC program offices regarding processes, transaction submissions and data entry
- Manage knowledge transfer and information repositories to include forms, templates and manuals
- Coordinate related committee meetings and distribute documentation to appropriate departments
- Support the development and preparation of related LISC trainings and webinars
Assume other related responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, however relevant work experience may be considered a proxy.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in lending and underwriting support.
- Strong data analysis skills, including creating pivot tables, charts, graphs, and performing data validation.
- Strong financial skills including financial statement analysis.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and Salesforce.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across the LISC network of local and national programs and affiliates.
- Good organizational abilities, including ability to work independently and to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Compensation
LISC offers a competitive salary (63K - 75K; salary commensurate with relevant work experience) and excellent fringe benefits
